Ingredients
- 500g beef steak (frozen)
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp mirin
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp toasted seasame seeds
- 2 chopped spring onions
- 1/2 a kiwi (put through garlic mincer)
Directions
- Create a marinade by mixing all of the ingredients (apart from the beef)
- Take your frozen steak and slice it thinly.
- Place your steak slices into the marinade and mix it well.
- Leave in the fridge for atleast 30 minutes, upto a 24 hrs, the longer the better.
- Heat a frying pan till hot
- tong out the pieces of beef on the pan and cook till browned, you will want to do this in batches so it is not too soggy and kill the heat.
- The left over marinade mixture can be reduced in a sauce pan to have with the beef over rice.
